OGO Tejon de Oro Hermoso x CFF Texas Tea
OGO EastWest Coast is proven by genetic color testing as a Smokey Cream which is a double diluted black. EastWest was owed a foal by my stallion Badger so othey decided to buy CFF Texas Tea who was in foal to Badger to satisfy the agreement. Bj and Ann Max were very surprised, when March rolled around and a double dilute popped out. Coast is not only a foundation bred colt, but is themely bred WWF bloodlines.
OGO EastWest Coast was SOLD to Black Heart Morgans. Please visit their website to follow his stallion career.

NEW!! There is a brand new addition to Old Growth Oak Morgans! Introducing...OGO Luna Illuminati.
Illuminati was born about 8 a.m. on 5-25-06 and is a strapping black stud colt with a small irregular star. We had just decided that STK Black Velvet was no longer a Morgan Horse, but rather, a 'Horseopotimus, because she was so huge.
This colt will likely mature between 15.2 - 16.0 hands tall with the height and movement of his sire, Caduceus Denver. He will have the body, substance and type of his dam, STK Black Velvet.

A classic, typey guy with excellent conformation and movement, with a beautiful face and big eye. Creole should excel in the sport of your choice. His father is 16.2h and his dam was a solid built 14.3. Right now he is a dark buckskin with a light brown face. he should shed out to be the color of this face and reach 15 hands.

This good looking, correct colt brings a grand heritage of working horses in his pedigree. His dam is pure old California Western Working Family with all the horses in the fourth generation being registered in 1947 or earlier (mostly much earlier), thus bringing the old ranching heritage up close for today’s breeders. Lucky Seven’s dam and the ancestors were bred by some of the top breeders of good using horses of those eras. Lucky Seven’s sire also brings in some of the best of the old working Morgans both through the WWF and Brunk portions of his pedigree. A pedigree this rich in the working ranch heritage and this pure is very difficult to find. This colt will carry on the tradition and heritage to which he is bred and will be valuable to anyone wishing to breed using Morgans for any endeavor.

Here is another of those really good Bandido colts—wonderful sensible temperament and mind coupled with good conformation and good looks. Bandido brings his working heritage and solid pedigree. Rio Grande’s dam also brings in some very good Western Working Family blood along with some other solid old lines. Shatona Karzan is the sire of the dam and he brings in old California ranching blood and some solid working heritage from the L. U. Sheep Co. Ranch also. On the dam side, there is Government, Old Vermont, Brunk, and some more WWF. Rio Grande will be a great friend and working partner, or could be considered as a breeding horse for someone who wants to bring in some good old blood.

How can you go wrong with a foal that strikes the pose right after she is born? The grace and spirit of the mighty Jubilee King are so evident in this filly that her great, great, great Grandfather must surely be proud.

Congratulations to Libby Flower of Flower Farms.
This big tall colt comes from tall parents so should have size. He certainly is solid and correct now. His sire is a noted sports horse in the dressage arena and his dam comes from good old Western Working Family lines, working ranch horses all. His sire has some good WWF lines behind him as well as some old Brunk and old Midwest. In Fact, Finlee is an excellent source of that hard to find old Midwest blood. "Springy's" dam is preservationist pure in the WWF family and is an excellent complement to Finlee. All told, this colt is a sire prospect and surely is a budding sports horse whether left entire or gelded. He should be considered by breeders of sports Morgans for his rich heritage and special pedigree. And he should be considered by all as a wonderful using horse for competition and pleasure.

Primavera Valdez x Woodrose Katrina
A handsome and correct young fellow with an excellent pedigree of Western Working Family and Brunk. His sire’s heritage is that of all working Morgans, both through the Brunk lines and the WWF portion. Bravo’s dam is pure WWF, coming from many generations of working ranch horses mostly from California, but also from other areas. Her pedigree complements that of Bravo’s sire’s having much of the same old Brunk and WWF breeding back behind the first generations. On both sides of Bravo’s pedigree, the old horses are very close up, bringing to today the rich heritage of these true Morgans of the past. It would be difficult to find a pedigree richer then this one and one which is suitable for the preservationist breeder or the sports breeder or anyone who wishes to breed Morgans in the tradition of the true versatile Morgans.

OGO WindSwept Soleil is a promising young stallion showing the good traits of his parents and ancestors. He is even tempered, sensible, calm, easy to get along with, correct, handsome and has good movement. His heritage is one of working and using horses, mostly bred for ranch use by people who needed good working horses and who knew what made that in a horse. His pedigree has much of the old California blood, going back to Richard Sellman’s breeding. He also has some of the good old Brunk breeding, especially that of Red Vermont. To add to the mix, he has some good lines back to Old Vermont and Old Midwest families. The same breeding repeats in his pedigree on both sides, giving balance and strength to his heritage. He brings to today, the valuable traits treasured by horseman of the past.

This pretty mare is pure Western Working Family with a sire line back to Linsley through Sparfield and Sparbeau. On her dam’s side, she has two crosses to Red Correll and two crosses to Domino Joe, one of those through Wyoming Flyhawk. Her bottom mare line goes back to some excellent Jubilee King lines. Prairie’s pedigree is one of breeding strength with much of the old foundation Western Working family as well as some excellent old Brunk breeding behind it and good crosses to the Old Midwest also.
Re-homed to non-breeder due to frontpage story on stolen OGO horses.
